Don’t Pass Odds

One again, this is the exact reverse of taking the odds; you win if a 7 is rolled before the point. Normally, this number can be a multiple of the original don’t pass bet. Payouts depends upon how common the point is (such as 1 to 2 and 2 to 3).

Come

This bet can be made at any time (assuming that the point has already been established). As with the pass line position, you will win if you roll a 7 or 11 and lose if a 2,3 or 12 is the end result.

Across the world, even amongst the most experienced craps players, you will be hard-pressed to meet somebody who can lay claim to having scored a 154-roll game. Yet, Patricia Demauro from New Jersey managed to achieve just that at a casino in Atlantic City.

A grandmother, Demauro decided to try her luck at craps after growing tired of playing the slot machines. Although she was not familiar with the terminology of the game, she soon found that she was scoring a string of lucky rolls as spectators began to gather. Eventually, she broke the record for the world’s longest game of craps – and seems to have pocketed a tidy sum in the process. Although Demauro has not publicly announced her winnings, experts on gambling have estimated that the total amount will be hundreds of thousands of dollars.
