How to Play Roulette

Roulette, French for little wheel, is a popular casino game. The roulette wheel itself is numbered 0-36, with some American wheels having an extra slot numbered ’00’. Each numbered slot is coloured either red or black, with the ‘0’ or ’00’ being coloured green. In simple terms, the aim of the game is to predict where a small white ball will land once the spinning roulette wheel has come to rest. Based on the prediction, a player will then place a suitable bet on the roulette table. Choices available include bets on a specific number, whether the number will be odd or even or coloured black or red. To maximise the chance of winning the player can place a bet on a group of numbers but essentially the more unlikely the outcome, the better odds the player will receive if their prediction proves to be correct.
